The 36º Rallye CatalunyaCosta Brava was the fifth round of 2000 FIA World Rally Championship. The event took place between 31 March and 2 April 2000. Ford driver Colin McRae took his first win of the season. Richard Burns extended his championship lead to 9 points by finishing second in front of Carlos Sainz and Tommi Mäkinen.
