The Sixth International Congress on Tuberculosis was a held in Washington, D. C. in the United States from 28 September to 5 October 1908. It was planned, fundraised, and coordinated by the National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis,[1] Events at the congress were chronicled in the Transactions of the Sixth International Congress on Tuberculosis, now in the public domain. The American National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis identified this congress as a pivotal event in the founding history of the Association.[1]
