Jon Klein (sometimes credited as John Klein or John Kline)[1] (born 9 May 1960, Bristol, England) is an English guitarist, best known for his work with the seminal gothic rock band Specimen.

Klein was a co-founder of the London club The Batcave, the epicenter of the UK goth scene in the early 1980s.

He was also a founding member of the late 1970s new wave band Europeans, and was a member of Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1988 to 1995. He recorded with a wide array of other artists including Baron Puppett, Thomas Dolby, Shriekback, Lucia and Space Tribe, and performed with Sinéad O'Connor.[2]
