Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the film industry, the film's premiere in the Encounters section at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival was split into two stages. The film first screened virtually for industry insiders on March 1, 2021. It will then screen physically for the general public at the festival's "Summer Special" in June 2021.[3][4]

Reception

Reviewing the film at its screening at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival, Owen Gleiberman of Variety wrote that "The film's elements don't mesh as seamlessly as they should have... Yet the movie, at its best, can hold you in its grip."[5]
