Yvon Le Roux (born 19 April 1960 in Plouvorn, Finistère) is a former football defender from France, who earned 28 international caps (one goal) for the French national team during the mid-1980s. A player of FC Nantes (1985–1987), he was a member of the French team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup and the team that won the European Championship in 1984. In the final of Euro 1984 he was sent off, but his team still managed to beat Spain 2-0.[1] Whilst at Marseille he helped them to the league and cup double in 1989.
